Maillot Jaune

Inspired by the Tour de France, the Maillot Jaune (yellow jersey) broadside features on the left; the names of the five men who have won the Tour five or more times.

On the right, the title of Laterne Rouge is given to the rider who places last in the race. Laterne Rouge translated means Red Light, and refers to the red light at the back of a train's caboose. Names listed are the Laterne Rouge title holders for years 2002 through 2006.

Hand set lead type and hand cut linoleum block illustration.
